Battery and Charger
IQ-8000 comes in two battery options, a 288WH (24 volt, 12AH) lithium-ion or a 480WH (24 volt, 20AH) lithium-ion.
The 12AH battery is airline and cruise approved and delivers a range up to 13 miles.
The 20AH battery is not airline or cruise approved and delivers a range up to 19 miles. The battery charging time is for each battery is 6 to 8 hours.
The IQ-8000 battery can be charged with a regular home outlet.
The charging details for each battery (12AH or 20AH) are AC 100 – 240 Volt, 50 Hertz, at 1.5 – 5 amperes.
The IQ-8000 comes with a standard 24V 2A charger in the box.
For quicker charging times, we recommend the 24V 3A charger for the long range 20AH battery. The 24V 3 charger is sold separately.
Motors
The lightweight IQ-7000 travel chair comes with two 250W engines. Each motor works independently, and they provide a total motor power of 500W.
The motor torque is 1.1Nm giving these motors the power to climb angles up to 6 degrees.
Travel Friendly
The IQ-8000 is a lightweight foldable travel wheelchair. The 12AH (288WH) lithium-ion battery is travel approved by most major airlines and cruise lines. The 20AH (480WH) lithium-ion battery may not be approved by airlines and cruise lines. Before travelling by airline or cruise, please contact the airline or cruise line to confirm their travel battery regulations.
Remote Controller
The IQ-8000 comes with a remote controller. The remote control allows you to maneuver the chair, adjust the speed, honk the horn, and recline the chair (if applicable). The remote control works at distances up 30 feet.
Speed
The IQ-8000 has five speed selections and a limited top speed of 4 mph. The five speed selections will deliver 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, or 100% of the maximum speed with speed one being 20% of maximum speed and speed five being 100% of maximum speed.

Weight of the Chair
The IQ-8000 (17.5” wide seat area) is a foldable chair is just 52.9 lbs. without battery. The 12AH battery add 6 lbs. and 20AH battery is 7 lbs.
The IQ-8000 PLUS (20” wide seat area) is 55 lbs. without battery. The automatic reclining features adds 6 lbs. to each of the chairs.
Wiring/Electronics
The IQ-8000 wiring, connectors, processor, motors, and controller are weather resistant and are able to resist light rain and winds. It is important to understand that none of the electronics are weather or waterproof and should avoid heavy rains or submersion in water.
Headrest

The IQ-8000 chair is equipped with a weather resistant 360-degree joystick controller. The controller contains the power on/off button, the speed selection buttons, the horn button, the battery level display, and the 360-degree joystick controller. If your IQ-8000 supports the auto reclining feature, your controller will also include the recline and upright buttons

1. Can I turn my wheelchair on or turn off with the remote control?
No. The wheelchair’s power must be turned on before the remote control is turned on. This allows the controller to pair with the chair.
2. Does my wheelchair arrive fully assembled?
Your wheelchair will arrive almost fully assembled. When your wheelchair arrives, you'll need to attach the remaining parts.
3.Can my wheelchair go on an airplane or cruise?
Yes. The 12AH (288WH) lithium-ion battery is travel approved by most major airlines and cruise lines. Before travelling by airline or cruise, please contact the airline or cruise line to confirm their travel battery regulations.
4. I’ve run out of battery. Can I push my chair?
Yes. The IQ-8000 wheelchair can operate like a manual wheelchair. To do so, make sure the power is off, then disengage both motors by pulling the levers on each motor to the unlocked position. Doing this will set your wheelchair to free wheel mode.
5. Does my remote control come paired with my chair?

6. Can I silence the beeping sound my wheelchair makes while reversing?
Yes. To remove the beeping noise, press the (+) key on the controller until you reach the top speed then hold the button down until you see the amber light in the middle of the display. Quickly press the horn button and the beeping will stop. Repeat these steps if you want the beeping sound back.
7. Does the armrest raise?
Yes. Both armrests can raise to allow an easier exchange or to make it easier to push you chair closer to a table
8. How do I charge the battery?
The lithium-ion battery can be charged through the joystick controller or directly on the battery. The charge time for an empty battery is 6-8 hours. If your battery has a partial charge, the charge time will be less. When the battery is fully charged, unplug the charger from the battery and unplug it from the power outlet.
9. Can I install my controller on either side of the wheelchair?
Yes. The controller will be setup on the right side of the wheelchair, but it can be easily moved to the left side.
10. Does my wheelchair come with a warranty?

11. Can I use my wheelchair on dirt and grass?

After yrs of research I finally order 2 wheelchairs, one by insurance that will take up to 6 mos to get in from somewhere else, and this wheelchair that came from across the country in one week. My comfygo Majestic IQ-8000+ has truly made me feel free again to now go wherever I want. The 20A battery has a max distance of 19 miles so it will take me a long way on land. Also, cust service is very helpful at Comfy Go. They aim to help the customer understand and get what they need. I also love the bright royal blue seat covers I ord'd. The chair goes pretty fast. It slows down automatically when you start to turn corners so you won't tip over. I just got this chair two days ago but I believe I will remain very happy with my choice in the mos and years to come. ♥️👍♥️

This ComfyGo Phoenix has made taking care of my 90 year old/250 pound Father so much easier. Getting it in an out of the back our are Accent is now easy, which saves my back. Plus moving it around in the back it seems like it Really only weighs a feather compared to his previous so called light weight chair. Plus the quality construction and ease of use was so obvious right from the start. If you want a chair that is simple to take on the go you have found it. It is worth the cost!
With all of the amount of choices to pick from I chose the IQ-9000 with reclining seat. It was received really fast and it was packaged really well. It was very easy to unpackage. Charged up the battery and away I went. I am unable to get around as well as I used to and this chair has helped me to cope with my aging body. The quality is outstanding and the variations of speed really help for me to get around. It is easy to fold and doesn't take up a lot of space in the back of my vehicle. This model did come with the head rest. The quick attach bolts for the head rest were not in the packaging. Once phone call and 3 days later the quick attach bolts arrived and I attached the head rest. A quality product that I am completely pleased with.

I bought this chair in May and am at a conference for work now. I used to use a scooter. This is SO much better. Why?
1. It fit in the closet at the entrance to the plane. No gate checking, no damage.
2. I can easily roll up to tables for lunch, to get coffee, talk with vendors. It is easy to raise the controller arm to rest on table edge so I could eat comfortably and at a normal height. My scooter always had me sitting too high.
3. I can maneuver in elevators, crowded hallways and tight conference rooms.
4. One battery lasted all day with lots of back and forth at the conference.
5. I could take a regular taxi at airport…no wheelchair van required.
6. It handled some limited movement on grass at the after party just fine.

I have purchased, used, and am very happy with my Comfygo auto recline IQ9000 Plus chair. I have used it on a variety of surfaces and it works well on all of them. I toured around the Washington State Fairgrounds for 5 hours . The chair was very comfortable to ride in and used only 80 % of the first battery. The chair maneuvers well, stops and starts on command and the joystick is easy to use and responsive. Overall the chair is much more sophisticated than I expected. I recommend this chair and would purchase it again.
